About the Provider
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, in the Psychiatry Department’s Division of Child and Adolescent Psychology.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Yale University, completed my PhD at Stony Brook University, and my internship at Rutgers University Counseling Center. I completed a research fellowship in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Irving Medical Center before becoming an assistant professor in 2020.
In addition to providing therapy, I am also a researcher. My laboratory examines the impact of adverse childhood experiences on cognition, including cognitive control and reward-related decision making, through behavior and brain responses. You can find my lab website here, and a list of my publications here.
Before becoming a clinical psychologist, I was a visual artist.
